Miranda House, also known as Miranda House College, is a prestigious government women’s college, established in 1948. Located in New Delhi, the Miranda House campus spans over 15 acres within the University of Delhi’s North Campus. The college is affiliated with the University of Delhi and recognized by the UGC. Miranda House was ranked 1st in the NIRF College Category in 2023 and 2024, making it one of the most reputed colleges in India for Arts and Science education.
Miranda House offers a wide range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in the streams of Arts, Science, and Education. BA (Hons), BSc (Hons), MA, MSc, and B.El.Ed are some of the popular courses. Admissions at Miranda House are based on CUET UG/PG entrance examination scores. Miranda House admissions are based on CUET UG and CUET PG conducted by NTA. Candidates must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal of Delhi University. Based on CUET scores and seat allotment rounds, students are admitted to their respective courses.
As of now, the official reports of Miranda House placement for 2021 is available. During the 2021 placement, 104 students were placed. The Miranda House highest package was Rs 19.2 lakh per annum. The average package on the other hand was Rs 6 lakh per annum. There was a rise of 10% in the highest CTC offered to the UG students as compared to the previous year's placements. For the Miranda House placement package for PG students, there was a rise of 11%. Miranda House offers various scholarships and concessions to students based on their merit as well as financial needs. Below we mention some of the popular scholarships offered at Miranda House College:
The All India Entrance Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students from a 3-year honours degree course. 50 students are offered Rs 250 on a monthly basis as part of this Miranda House scholarship.
Shri Uggersain Memorial Endowment Scholarship: This is for students who come from extremely weak financial backgrounds. The students whose family monthly income is not more than Rs 1000 are awarded this scholarship. The first-year students who qualify from the Delhi Central Board with first division are awarded this scholarship.
University of Delhi Women’s Association Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to two female students who are daughters of soldiers. They must have qualified 10+2 from Delhi Central Board.
The Balak Ram Scholarship: This Miranda House scholarship is awarded to the first-year students of Mathematics. The monthly family income of students must not exceed Rs 500.

Agar aapne payment kar diya hai aur "Cancel your admission from University of Delhi" likha aa raha hai, toh tension mat lijiye. Ye option sabko dikhta hai jab tak admission final approve nahi hota. Miranda House College comes under the surveillance of Delhi University. To get admission in colleges of DU, students have to enrol in the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). The CSAS is a portal where you do not need to apply for colleges separately. You will be offered admission based on your scores and the preference added by you during the counselling process. Note that, the CSAS registration last date 2023 is July 24, 2023. Hence, you must register yourself before the deadline. The DU Miranda House College merit list will be announced on August 1, 2023.

If you want to take admission in M.Sc. Biotechnology under DU, you’ll need to apply through the official PG admission portal of DU. Admission is mostly based on the CUET PG exam scores, so you must appear for that exam and choose the relevant paper code for Biotechnology. Once the results are out, DU will release a list of participating colleges and courses with seat allotments. You’ll have to register, fill in your preferences, and then take part in the counselling process.
